Private operational tool
The SALC Daily Briefing Mailer is a private, internally operated service that prepares and sends scheduled news briefings to a fixed group of Southern Arizona Leadership Council staff.
The service reviews public news and approved publisher sources for developments relevant to SALC members and tracked election measures.
It creates two HTML briefings: a Member Briefing and an Election Watch report.
It uses Google’s Gmail API only to send those prepared messages from the authorized owner account to configured recipients.
Limited Gmail access: the mailer requests the gmail.send permission. It does not request permission to read, search, modify, or delete Gmail messages.
Who uses it
This service is not offered to the public. It is administered by OfficeNote for a small, predetermined SALC staff group. Only the owner’s explicitly authorized Google account can grant the sending permission.
